Services
Three ways clinics and labs work with us: remote CAD design, digital manufacturing, and a system for keeping your preferences on record.
Remote CAD design
If you can send us a scan, we can design the case. You send an intraoral scan, and our technicians design the restoration and return a finished design file for you to mill or pass along for manufacturing.
This part of our work involves data only, not a physical product changing hands. That's why we can start working with clinics and labs outside Japan now, without waiting on any of the arrangements a physical product would need.
We currently support this for crowns, bridges, and implant restorations. If you have a workflow question before sending a case, get in touch and we'll walk through it with you.
Digital manufacturing in Japan
Our lab in Obihiro, Hokkaido runs a fully digital workflow: intraoral scanning, CAD design, milling, and 3D printing, including a 3D printing environment built for 5-micron precision. We use this same environment, and the same technicians, for the clinics we already serve across Japan.
We describe it here because it's the foundation our remote design work is built on. At this stage, it isn't a manufacturing service we offer outside Japan.
Preset system
Dentists often describe their preferences in words that are hard to standardize: "a bit tighter than usual," or "the margin should sit just so." We translate those preferences into numbers, things like cement gap in micrometers or contact strength, and keep them on file for your clinic.
Once a preference is on record, we use the same numbers on the next case, and the one after that, regardless of which technician is working on it.
